Authorized Dealer Status

We are a full service, authorized dealer for everything we sell or you will not see it on our website or in our showroom for sale. Only authorized dealers can offer a legal warranty backed by the manufacturer. Every product, including closeouts, comes with the manufacturer's warranty. (Beware of websites that offer "their own" warranty.) Without a manufacturer’s warranty you may be left vulnerable.

Manufacturer’s warranties for snorkeling and diving equipment can extend as long as 10 years. Two years down the road, a dive computer or BC vest may have a warranty claim. Regulator warranties include free parts for life from the manufacturer but only if they are serviced by an authorized dealer.

To verify a dealer's status, contact the manufacturer. Serial numbers of regulators, etc. are recorded directly on the vendor’s packing lists to dealers and are kept as permanent record for 100% proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.

Unauthorized dealers cannot offer manufacturer’s warranties, service or parts. Divers Discount Florida only honors warranties and warranty service on equipment purchased from manufacturer's authorized dealers. 



MAP (Minimum Advertised Price)

Minimum Advertised Prices (MAP) are set by the manufacturer. We cannot advertise any product for less than the manufacturer's MAP. Selling prices are not set by manufacturers and have no minimum. Please contact us for more information regarding the MAP guidelines, product availability, our instore pricing policy, non-MAP pricing, price matching or discrepancies in MAP price comparisons on other dealer’s sites. Divers Discount Florida is an authorized dealer for everything we sell or you won’t see it on our website or in our showroom for sale. Only authorized dealers can offer a legal warranty backed by the manufacturer.  All authorized dealers must comply with all Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) guidelines set by the manufacturers. Lower price advertising may result in a suspension or termination of an authorized dealership.



Price Matching

Divers Discount Florida will match or beat any price online or instore of any piece of equipment or package of equipment. Please send us an email for custom quotes, bids, and product availability or price comparisons. Divers Discount Florida is an authorized dealer for everything we sell therefore, we cannot match prices of unauthorized dealers of "bootleg equipment".



Warranty Information

Any item we offer for sale comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, we offer the customer 100% satisfaction guaranteed for 30 days (see closeouts).

Any product may be returned in its original condition for refund or credit within the first 30 days of purchase (see closeouts). Items returned to us in used or altered condition will not be accepted for return. Items returned due to malfunction or warranty claim will be forwarded to the manufacturer or replaced immediately depending on the manufacturer.

We will do everything possible to insure satisfaction for all customers. Our manufacturers encourage this policy of full customer satisfaction. Vendors that do not support our policy are not represented on our website or in our showroom.



Shipping and Order Information

Domestic Orders are shipped insured via Fedex, UPS USPS or Military Mail. Domestic orders received up until 3 PM will ship the same day under normal circumstances. All domestic orders are verified for the correct billing address (the address where the bill is sent) and CVV bank code# (3 digit number on the back of Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards/4 digit number on the front of American Express cards). Domestic orders are shipped to the billing address only unless you have a verifiable alternative or shipping address listed with your credit card company. We only ship to verifiable addresses. Wire transfer, online bill pay, check or money order payments may be shipped to any address worldwide.

At the time of shipping, you will be sent a correct "Order Shipped" final invoice detailing your order and tracking information. Please check your spam filter and allow email from orders@DiversDiscountFlorida.com or you may not receive your invoice until you retrieve a copy from inside the box. Divers Discount Florida will make every effort to inform you of backorders, changes in products, prices or shipping that will affect your satisfaction prior to shipping.

The final invoice emailed may not be the same as the initial order page as prices, shipping charges, backorders, freight free, package quotes, pickups and other changes will be corrected before the final invoice is emailed. Our goal is your satisfaction and repeat business. Please email or call us to check on the status of any order or check online under "My Account" for order updates.

Upon receipt of the package Fedex, UPS or USPS will send an email with detailed shipping, tracking and delivery information. Oversize or overweight shipments may incur a surcharge. Orders for instore pickup are not charged freight unless they are special order from the manufacturer and not normally stocked merchandise.

International Orders may be shipped via UPS, Fedex or USPS. International orders received up until 3 PM will ship the same day under normal circumstances. International orders are processed quickly via Swift wire transfer. Please email for details and instructions. Wire transfer, online bill pay, check or money order payments may be shipped to any address worldwide.

American Express cards are accepted online for international orders and ship only to a verified address. We can verify your American Express address simply from your order. You may also list a different address with American Express as an alternative address. This will enable us to verify it and ship your order to your alternative address.

All international and domestic cards are accepted instore. International Visa/Mastercard orders online are accepted with prior approval arrangements made instore. Please arrange for special approval to have your online orders shipped anywhere in the world during your next visit to the store.

Order Preparation

All equipment hardware orders (regulators, octos, gauges, BC vests, etc.) are thoroughly bench tested by a factory authorized tech before shipping. Regulator systems are assembled and tested for proper, safe operation prior to shipping. This is a normal preparation procedure for all life support equipment. No additional charges.



Return Policy

All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase (see Closeouts) to Divers Discount Florida or the manufacturer. Prior to returning any merchandise, a Return Authorization number must be assigned to all returns.  An RA# will be issued upon receipt of  your email. Orders shipped complete or partially from the manufacturer must be returned to the manufacturer. Divers Discount Florida will secure your RA# from the manufacturer and assign it to your return so credit can be properly applied to your account. Return packages without a Return Authorization number on the address label may be refused delivery and returned to the customer. Delays and additional shipping charges may be incurred.

Divers Discount Florida will issue credit to the original credit card only. Shipping charges can not be refunded. Free shipping items returned will be issued a credit for the amount of the return minus the shipping charge paid by Divers Discount Florida to the customer and minus any restocking fees applied to the return. Only unused equipment in original condition may be returned for credit. Used, damaged, scratched or worn equipment will not be accepted for credit. Direct shipments and special orders from the
manufacturer may incur a manufacturer's re-stocking fee. Credits usually appear on the next credit card statement.

Divers Discount Florida's goal is zero returns. We will endeavor to get it right the first time. However, if the situation requires a return, we will endeavor to make it as efficient and painless for the customer as possible.



Backorders

In the event of a backorder, out of stock or delayed shipment, you will be advised and sent an email requesting your instructions and permission before substitutions are made. On the rare occasion that certain products are backordered, we can ship your order immediately as a partial shipment of the item(s) in stock. The item(s) backordered can be shipped at a later date to complete your order. In the event an item(s) is discontinued by the manufacturer (out of stock) or an unusually long backorder time is indicated, you may cancel the backordered item(s) at any time.  No additional freight will be charged when backorders are shipped. Update emails may be sent when additional information is received from the manufacturer regarding the status your backorder. 



Closeouts

All closeout merchandise is non-returnable and non-refundable. All sales are final. All closeout merchandise comes with the full manufacturer's warranty.



Payment Information

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal or business checks, money orders, Traveler's Checks, Online Bill Pay and Swift Wire Transfers. All domestic orders are verified for the correct billing address (the address where the bill is sent) and CVV bank code# (3 digit number on the back of Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards/4 digit number on the front of American Express cards). All orders are shipped to the billing address only. Due to internet fraud, we no longer can ship to anything other than the billing address for credit card orders. Tax Information

Orders delivered within the state of Florida incur a 6% state sales tax. International orders subject to import, duty, VAT, or customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Divers Discount Florida does not accept any responsibility for any order refused or unclaimed by the customer due to unpaid taxes or fees. Please contact your import officials before placing an order to clarify your obligations.



Privacy Policy

The SSL (Secure Socket Layering) padlock you see on our order pages means your credit card and identity information is encrypted and is as secure as it would be on the most secure site online, for example, a financial site. It is never shared with anyone except the credit card processor, your bank or the credit card issuer for verification of identity (if necessary).

Identity information including names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are only shared with our shippers and vendors so we can ship your order.  We shred all paperwork pertaining to customer information, including credit card and identity information before disposing of it to protect our customer’s confidential information.

Divers Discount Florida does not share or sell customer lists or email lists. The value of the confidentiality of our customers does not have a price.
